| Carries Venture Way across the canal. Modern road bridge. Brick faced in situ concrete bridge with elliptical arch. Built by P.Trant Ltd of Exeter at a cost of �178,000. Replaced the original which was constructed of brick abutments with iron fenders to protect the brickwork from barge tow ropes. The roadway was concrete plank decking on girders and gave about 4ft air clearance from the waterway. | ||||
