Fivehead River
A tributary of the river Isle. Also known as the Rag River, the source is head streams that rise in the hills south west of Staple Fitzpaine which join near to Batten’s Green. It flows east past Hatch Beauchamp and Beercrocombe. Just east of Beercrocombe the river is joined by tributary streams including Venners Water which rise near Curland Common. The river then flows north east past Isle Abbotts and joins the river Isle north of Isle Brewers.
