River Exe Bridge – Duckes Marsh Exeter
SCHEDULE TO THE INSTRUMENTTHE DEVON COUNTY COUNCIL (EXETER, RIVER EXE BRIDGE) SCHEME 1985
The Devon County Council (hereinafter referred to as “the Council”) make this Scheme in exercise of their powers under section 106 of the Highways Act 1980 and of all other enabling powers.
1. The Council are authorised to construct over the navigable waters of the River Exe 300 metres downstream from St James Weir to link the Ducks Marsh area with the existing bridge over the Exeter Canal the bridge specified in the Schedule to this Scheme as part of the highway which they are proposing to construct known as the Exeter Cycle Track at Exeter in the County of Devon.
2. This Scheme may be cited as The Devon County Council (Exeter, River Exe Bridge) Scheme 1985.

THE SCHEDULE TO THE SCHEMEPLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS OF THE EXETER, RIVER EXE BRIDGE
The bridge consists of a two-span continuous post tensioned concrete structure with built in reinforced concrete pier and reinforced concrete abutments spanning the River Exe and a flood channel. The location and specifications of the bridge are shown, respectively, on Plan Number EX.C/53/1 and Plan Number HQ(DC) attached hereto and incorporated into this Schedule.
