Description:
Masonry single arch road bridge carries a minor lane. Constructed of local stone rubble. Bridge parapets on downstream side destroyed by floods. Possibly original arch on downstream face but the upstream arch shows modern repair with squared concrete to replace original arch. Alham House was converted from a fulling mill in the late 18th century1 and the mill leat exit into the River Alham is a small stone arch 5 metres downstream from the bridge.
